We landed late and this place was close to our hotel. One of the best tacos I've had. I'd highly recommend the cheese shrimp taco. I'm not even sure what was on it but it was so fresh and full of all sorts of flavors. We'll be back here before we leave. These were fresh to order and a pretty good price.

This food truck is located behind the Maui Clinic Building on Puunene Avenue. It relocated from Lahaina after the August fires, and I hope it stays at this location because it is a short trip from my office. There is ample parking at Maui Mall if you're driving.
I had not tried their food in Lahaina, but I've eaten here twice in the past week. Their food is great and servings filling. I went for two tacos on my first trip and opted to add rice and beans for $1.00 more. On my second visit, I tried the nachos with shredded beef. This time I added the salsa over my meal before I left. It was worth it, as their salsa bar has a good variety of add ons. I would opt for nachos again or try their burritos on my next visit.

Ono Tacos ranks high on my food truck spots on Maui!
Ono Tacos is one of the best food trucks that specializes in Mexican food , they have some pretty ono burritos and tacos (hence the name). The ingredients are so fresh, flavorful, and most importantly -- filling!
I ordered the shrimp burrito, birria taco, and Al pastor taco. I was not disappointed with any of my purchases. At ono tacos, they do not skimp out of the portions. For the shrimp burrito, I had a fair amount of shrimp. As for the tacos, lots of juicy meat!
Overall, my experience at Ono tacos is always a great one. The food never disappoints!

I had these shrimp tacos about 10 years ago and I finally made it back to Lahaina and looked for them! I brought my family to try them and everyone loved them, they did not disappoint! Don’t miss out on them!

We heard about this place online. Decided to drop by on our way to front street. We got the 2 taco combo which came with rice and beans. My girlfriend got the fish quesadilla. I selected the cow's tongue and shredded beef tacos. Both were so favorful in texture. All the side items were located on next to the truck. The fish quesadilla was so basic. It was nothing special. The tacos were delicious. Would recommend for any tacos lovers

Husband and I ate there yesterday for lunch. It was very good. We had a veggie quesadilla, fish taco, and steak burrito! Definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Maui!
